Notice of Bill 124 Hearings
The Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills will meet to consider Bill 124, An Act to provide for fair registration practices in Ontario's regulated professions.
The committee intends to hold public hearings in Toronto on Wednesday, November 15 and 22, 2006, and on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 (dates subject to change).
Interested parties who wish to make an oral presentation in Toronto should contact the Committee Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2006.
The committee intends to hold public hearings in Hamilton on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 (date subject to change). Interested people who wish to make an oral presentation in Hamilton should contact the committee clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2006.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the Bill may send written submissions to the committee clerk at the address below by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2006.
Interested parties may buy a copy of the Bill through Publications Ontario at 1-800-668-9938, or at 416-326-5300 in Toronto. An electronic version of the Bill is also available on the Legislative Assembly website at: www.ontla.on.ca.
