How can you make a difference?
"New Dawn" Refugee Reception House is a new community vision of SISO's to build a centre to house multiple refugee and new immigrant families within a safe, cultural learning environment in Hamilton. The house will include living quarters for up to 30 families and common areas for trained staff to deliver on-site language and day-to-day living skills training. This will help them integrate to independent living in their permanent home.
This will be the House that Hamilton builds - we encourage all Hamiltonians whether individuals or corporate businesses to give generously to this campaign, to help our new refugees and immigrants settle into a prosperous life in Hamilton. They will achieve success in building a life that will strengthen this community and learn to engage each other’s diverse culture for all of us to help one another.
