SISO provides various employment services to Businesses, Newcomers to Canada, and Recruiters within the Hamilton area.  We strongly believe that working together not only strengthens our communities, but also reinforces the ties that make Hamilton such as unique city.

We offer newcomers and businesses our Skills Advantage Database where we link internationally educated and trained individuals with employers and recruiters in the Hamilton community.

  We provide support in developing professional networks by linking Internationally-Trained Professionals and Tradespeople with Canadian mentors in the same field, and who are located in Hamilton. We provide employment preparation, information regarding Licensing / Registration, Career Alternatives and Transitions, Study Groups, and Counselling Services.
