Who Qualifies?
> Immigrants and refugees who graduated a (pre)-employment preparation program and who live in Hamilton, are legally entitled to work in Canada and have been in Canada for 3 years or less
> Employers interested in hiring newcomers to Canada (preference will be given to local employers) What Do You Need To Know?
> It is important for you to understand that we cannot "give you" a job!
> Our consultants identify job openings that are not advertised, present your skills to employers and arrange an interview for those selected by employers, after we submit the resumes of all those qualified.
> The employers are deciding who to interview and who to hire, based on their understanding of your skills, abilities, experience, education and fit with the needs of their companies and the requirements for the position.
> To be successful in landing a job, you need to perform your own daily search and to submit your resume to the positions advertised in various newspapers and web sites.
> We encourage you to call your Employment Consultant at SISO and ask for an Interview Preparation/Coaching before every interview.
